Students must be in FULL school uniform and arrive on site before 8.40am (warning bell)
On arrival at School students will go straight to their tutor bases - see notes below for schedule for the day

  • 8.40am (Warning Bell)
  • 8.45am - 9.45am (Lesson 1)
  • 9.45am - 10.45am (Lesson 2)
  • 10.45am - 11.15am (Tutor time / Assembly)
  • 11.15am - 11.40am (1st Break - warning bell at 11.35am)
  • 11.40am - 12.40pm (Lesson 3)
  • 12.40pm - 1.40pm (Lesson 4)
  • 1.40pm - 2.10pm (2nd Break - warning bell at 2.05pm)
  • 2.10pm - 3.10pm (Lesson 5)
  • 3.10pm - 4.10pm (Period 6 / Enrichment Activities)

Changes to Public Bus Services to Oxted School from Monday 3 September 2018

Service 357 (Southdown) - Revised afternoon timetable to accommodate the earlier finish in the school day.

Service 410 (Southdown) - The afternoon journey from the school at 15:30 operating to Godstone Green, Bletchingley and Redhill will now depart from Station Road East at 15:29.

Service 594/595 (Southdown) - All journeys via Limpsfield Chart will operate in a one-way loop Kent Hatch Road via Moorhouse Road, Tally Road, serve bus stop opposite the Carpenters Arms, Tally Road, Ridlands Rise, Stoneleigh Road, Moorhouse Road, Kent Hatch Road.  Revised afternoon timetable to accommodate the earlier finish in the school day.

Service 609 (Southdown) - This service has been revised to operate between Lingfield Racecourse and Ray Lane via Station Road, Crowhurst Road and Lingfield Common Road.  It will no longer operate to/from Lingfield War Memorial and Saxby’s Lane.  Pupils from these locations can use revised service 694. 

Service 610 (Southdown) - Revised afternoon timetable to accommodate the earlier finish in the school day.  Afternoon service will continue to Felbridge if requested by passengers already on board.

Service 694 (Southdown) - This service will start from Lingfield War Memorial and operate via Church Road and Saxby’s Lane to Crowhurst Road morning and afternoons.  Passengers from Lingfield Common Road can use revised service 609.  Revised afternoon timetable to accommodate the earlier finish in the school day.

Service 695 (Southdown) - Revised afternoon timetable to accommodate the earlier finish in the school day.

  • 12.40pm - Period 4 (normal timetable)
  • 1.40pm-2.10pm (lunch)
  • 2.10pm - with Tutors (Tutor Rooms)
  • 2.30pm - Assembly (Main Hall)
  • 2.50pm - Presentation of Rotary Dictionaries (Main Hall)
  • 3.10pm - Students dismissed

Year 12 - first day

  • 8.45am - with Tutors (Tutor Rooms)
  • 9.30am - Assembly (Main Hall)
  • 10.20am - Teaching and Learning Focused Workshops
  • 11.10am-11.40am (break)
  • 11.40am  - Teaching and Learning Focused Workshops
  • 12.40pm - Pastoral Focused Workshops
  • 1.40pm-2.10pm (lunch - students may leave)
  • 2.10pm - Sixth Form Team available in Common Room for individual Year 12 concerns

House assemblies will commence Monday 10 September and will be at the start and end of each term.  Year assemblies will take place every week in between.
