Studying GCSE Business Studies will provide students with essential life skills and an introduction to the world of business, as well as highlighting possible career opportunities. The course also includes information about economics, politics, legislation and the environment.

- Interdependent nature of business
Exam Papers
Paper 1 - Business , marketing and People (50%)
- Section A - Multiple-choice Questions
- Section B - Short, medium and extended questions
Paper 2 - Operations, Finance, Influences and the Independent Nature (50%)
- Section A - Multiple-choice Questions
- Section B - Short, medium and extended questions
Both papers will be taken at the end of Year 11.

Post-16 Choices
Business Studies links with many other AS/A2 subjects and can lead to employment, university courses and apprenticeships.
To proceed onto the A-Level Business Studies course, students need to gain a grade B or above in English, grade C or above in Mathematics and have an interest in Business.
