Black Lives Matter

At Oxted School we work hard to provide opportunities for students to explore the importance of tolerance and to celebrate different cultures.

With the recent discussions, debates and events sparked by the death of George Floyd, we created a range of resources to support our students in learning about the issues, events and the history associated with it. Tasks were set that encouraged students to be reflective, consider the information presented to them so that they were able to make informed opinions.

Our students have produced some really excellent work and have clearly begun what we hope will become a lifelong process of reflecting on and taking action against racism and injustice around the world.
