Changes to the Rail Timetable

A new reduced rail timetable will be taking effect from Monday 22 February 2021.  

A key change is that peak time Thameslink services will not operate.  Southern services to London Victoria that originate from East Grinstead will continue to run at busy times half-hourly, but the ‘all day’ service will be hourly.  

The hourly Southern service to London Bridge that starts in Uckfield will continue to run at an hourly frequency during busy times and half-hourly between 07:19 and 08:19 to coincide with the start of the school day.  However, at periods throughout the day when trains are quieter, the service will be reduced to every two hours.

• In the morning, an arrival from East Grinstead is maintained at Oxted at 0753 and from Uckfield at 0749 and 0819 

• In the afternoon, departures from Oxted are to East Grinstead at 1532 and 1602 then to Uckfield at 1536 and 1636
