Ex-student designs wind shelter

Ex-student Will B who is currently in his first year at Falmouth University studying Architecture. 

Will have been involved in a project and the brief was to design a wind shelter for a field at an Eco Park, which had fantastic views of the sea, but was not visited because it was unbelievably windy with no cover.  

Each students had to design a suitable shelter that they could build as a group. The owner of the Eco Park and the University lecturers judged the designs, eventually deciding on the one that they felt was best.  

Will’s design was selected, developed by an engineer working alongside the students, and subsequently built.  The shelter remains on the site and has been photographed professionally and used in the University’s advertisement for the Architectural Department at Falmouth University.
