Wellbeing Garden - Next Phase
We need your help!
We are now in a position where we can move forward with the wellbeing garden, but we need your help.
On Saturday 19 March from 9am until 3.15pm, we would like to assemble a working party to move this area on to the next phase.
We are looking for volunteers who are happy to do any of the following:
- Move material to the garden area (bring a wheelbarrow and spade)
- Dig holes for new trees to be planted (bring a spade)
- Hold back the brambles (bring thick gloves and secateurs)
- Other exciting opportunities that will present themselves on the day
It is hoped that we will identify other dates going forward where we will need volunteers to change our dream into reality.
When you join this event, you can also take a look inside at how we have transformed the wellbeing centre
We have been working hard to develop areas that will help students and staff to have a place to look after their wellbeing and establish a positive mental health. The school identified an area that was previously used for agricultural science but is now no longer used.
Over a weekend in March 2019, a group of hardy volunteers spent two days getting the area back into a manageable position.
The dream we are working towards with fundraising from the Friends of Oxted School
