Year 13 Annual Rocket Competition
Year 13 Science students finally had the opportunity to take part in the Annual Rocket Competition that is normally held after the Year 12 exams.
The existing records have not been broken but we have now added a new category for ‘solid fuel’ rockets which has been set this year.
The current records are: water rockets = 39.0m (HH, JH and NB 2018); ‘non-fuelled projectiles’ = 54.8m (GL 2017), and ‘solid fuel’ rockets = 85.3m (WC and MR 2021).
It was a very enjoyable afternoon for Year 13 after a long couple of difficult years during which our students have been amazing.
