Music Enrichment Clubs

Music Enrichment Clubs are back!

We are delighted that the Music Department is about to start preparing for its first LIVE Summer Concert since 2019!

The following enrichment clubs will be taking place next week (Tuesday 28 March – Thursday 30 March) and continuing to the end of summer term.  No auditions are required for any of our clubs, and everyone is welcome. 

  • Junior Choir is open for any Year 7 and Year 8 students
  • Senior Choir is for any student from Year 9 and above (you do not need to take GCSE Music to take part)
  • The Crescendudes is open to all years
  • Concert Band is for woodwind, brass, and classical strings – all abilities. There is lockable storage for your instruments 

If students are in a band, or want to form one, keep an eye out in the Music Dept for the return of Oxted Rocks – day/time TBA. 

The Summer Concert will take place on Wednesday 12 July at 6pm in the Main Hall and on the decking (weather permitting).   If you are a current Year 13 (still at Oxted or at another school/college) and you did not get your last summer concert, but would like to be part of this one,  please get in touch with Mrs Homewood (sally.homewood@oxted.thpt.org.uk)
