Message from Surrey Police:
There has been a report of a student being approached by a stranger in a white car on their way to school. This has occurred before and after school in the North Tandridge area – Caterham and Warlingham. This incident has been reported to the Police.
Students should remember to stay safe when on their way to and from school. The main strategies should be:
- Stay together wherever possible
- Never approach a car you don’t know
- Never respond to conversation from someone in a car you don’t know, tell if you are worried.
- If there is a shop close by go in and ring home
