Surrey Young Hero Award

I was so over the moon to be nominated for the Surrey Young Hero Award.  All I was asked if I could attend an award afternoon in Oxted. Never did I think I would win! 

I was nominated for my volunteer work I do with Rainbows (South Godstone), Brownies (South Godstone) and Guides (Oxted).  This has made me overcome so many barriers in my life and help me build my confidence.   I joined Girl Guiding at the age of 5 and am still with them as a Young Leader. 

I want to thank everyone who voted and nominated me. This award means so much and am very honoured to have received it.
